2 Doodles & a Poodle

WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE! LOCATED ON THE WIDE OPEN PLAINS OF PUEBLO WEST, COLORADO! We are a family of four that have fallen in love with Goldendoodles. The love affair began after we had to put our beloved golden retriever to sleep because of severe epileptic seizers that could not be controlled with medication.  We missed her very much and talked of another golden retriever to become a part of our family.  The problem was, we wanted a dog like a retriever that didn't shed.  We didn't think there was a dog like that and so we waited. Then we heard about goldendoodles and felt we may have found the perfect dog. Our first goldendoodle, Sugar, came into our home.  We were then sure we had found the perfect dog! When my mother-in-law "Joy" met her she was very impressed with her and felt goldendoodles were an excellent choice for breeding a wonderful family dog.  She felt that Sugar would be a perfect mother and incouraged us to breed her and share her with others.  Joy is retired now, but she raised puppies for over 40 years.  She became our mentor and trained us about the world of dogs and raising puppies. She now has a wonderful ministry with her Giant Schnauzer... Zion (see our we recommend page). Then we searched and found a wonderful black standard poodle named Conner and so our F1B doodles were born. We have had so much fun raising the past litters that we plan to keep raising them. We have since added the wonderful English Creme Golden Retriever to our pack.  We are looking forward to our first litter of English Creme Goldendoodles sometime this spring!  We raise Standard F1 English Cream, Standard F1B English Cream, English Cream mini/med doodles, and Petite American F1B Goldendoodles. We are dedicated to produce healthy, beautiful doodles with excellent temperaments.

Our son has autism and it has been very beneficial for him to help raise them. This has also been very good for our doodles.  Several of our doodles have gone to homes with children that have disabilities and some are being trained as therapy dogs. We encourage people that have special needs children to buy a goldendoodle because they are excellent dogs that help these children immensely. Our doodles are a living testimony to this fact.

This is a family venture and we all play our part in it. We hand raise our doodles in our home one litter at a time. We put ribbons on them as soon as they are born so we can tell them apart and make sure they are healthy and getting enough to eat. They are whelped in our large bedroom and stay there until they are 4 to 5 weeks of age. At that time we put them in a specially made pen in our basement where we spend a lot of time with them and they get a lot of attention. We start to house train them and teach them who is the leader of the pack from a very young age. They learn to sit before they get picked up or go outside or eat. We also start to teach them to come, by clapping our hands before they get fed. We put a lot of love and attention into each puppy.
